The Spirit of Financial Independence in 7 Quotes

This week, you guys are taking a break from me. “Hooray” says the crowd.

“No, for real?”

Nah, only partially.

But I thought it would be fun to collect some of the best #MoneyQuote of the interwebs and let the wise men & women speak for themselves. Or let them speak through pictures because, well, everyone loves pictures!

“Dude, its that a post or a collage?”

Call it what you want, I think collages are awesome.

All these quotes resonate deeply with me and I have time and time again referred to them. They re-motivate me when I am down. They help me re-focus when I need to. They make me smile when I’m at the pool (see the last one).

I hope they resonate with you as well. If they do, please share with your friends!

And let me know in the comments section below and on Twitter @TheMoneyMine: What is YOUR favorite #MoneyQuote?

  1. “If you don’t start, you will fail”

That is a really nice one… more powerful than the “Just Do IT” quote that I also like.

Just yesterday and today, I was in discussion with people on how not to start a task or challenge because it was going to be difficult. By not starting, we would indeed be sure to fail already!

    • Yes, I like the “Just do it” too.
There are so many things in life that take no time to do and actually deliver amazing results.
I remember 2 years ago trying to think about the best asset allocation I could use to invest my money in. Eventually, I activated automatic contributions on a 70% stocks / 30% bonds. I didn’t know what to do so I “just did it”.
      2 years later I still haven’t found a better alternative, but I’m happy I started :)
